Locked Out No More.

With the NFL lockout seeming to wind down, as a Dol-Fan I naturally dread the moves we will needsily make in another offseason. The Fins need up grades everywhere. Personally I would like to see the Fins grab a RB who is great out the backfield in receiving and can actually run relatively fast, think DeAngelo Willams or Jerious Norwood or the big bruiser in Kevin Smith.
The QB is also a position that i believe needs an upgrade, although I am not a Henne Basher. I can see Henne as a Trent DIlfer type of player if not better because of his semi-automatic rocket launcher for an arm. Vince Young would be a long shot and not much of an upgrade. Donovan McNabb can still play at a high level, but he's looking to compete for a ring with his career on the tail end. And after that the QB available gets to be slim picking. The Lbs are terrible with the exception of Dansby, so I'd take a look at former UF backer Mike Peterson and former Canes' Rocky McIntosh. With the passing up on Dez Bryant in last years draft the WR position is still in desperate need of talent. Bess and Marshall are are great posesson WRs but with Henne's arm we need a burner. I would look towards Steve Breaston or a high risk high reward guy in Donte Stallworth.
Whatever the Phins do we know a few things. It wont be popular with the fans, and nothing "sexy." With the smelly Tuna now gone and giving free advice to the 49ers, after we paid 10 million a year for that, hopefully we will take some more risk and actually seem to be trying to get better. I'm not saying, I'm just saying.

More Summer League Action For LBJ.

LeBron James gets a run in at the famous Drew League in Los Angeles, California. Side note, he had 30pts in 27min. Bigger side note, word is LBJ just wanted to show love to the Drew League why he came out and played. While Brandon Jennings Tweeted yesterday that LBJ got paid to go play. Showing love for the all mighty dollar I'd say. I'm not saying, I'm just saying.

Limited XBox 360 - Star Wars Edition

Star Wars will never get old. Here is the freshest example of how strong the Star Wars brand is. Microsoft has announced that after much speculation and rumors that they will be releasing a limited edition Star Wars themed XBox 360 at the end of 2011. The main console is modeled after R2D2 with it's color scheme. This limited XBox also comes with a wireless controller that resembles C3PO. Packing 320 gigabytes this XBox is no gimmick, as it also comes with a custom white Kinect sensor for the best gaming experience.

Not going to lie, I'am super excited for the "Beavis and Butthead 2011." I've heard about them making a come back for like 2 years now and I never believed it, I guess MTV is doing that poorly they need to bring something back that had success. I'm not saying, I'm just saying.

Make Your Own Luck.

The Miami Dolphins are in need of some luck. They need a spark. A new head coach is most likely not coming with rumors that Bill Parcells advising owner Steven Ross not to fire coach Sparano. The Dolphins have so many gapping holes on this team it is hard to pinpoint the biggest ones. The Dolphins need another WR, a playmaking RB, a TE who is constant, LBs who can cover, and safeties who are not always a step late. Oh yea and a QB. There are big play WRs and RBs in every round of every draft, while great TEs, and safeties come along very sparingly. And a franchise changing QB comes along about once every 5 years. Arrive Andrew Luck. Will the Carolina Panthers take Luck although they have a young QB in Jimmy Clausen? Most expects say they will. If i was the Gm of the Dolphins i would tell the Panthers this, "You can have anything and anybody you guys want in any combination. Just don't name Brandon Marshal or Jake Long. Anything and anybody else is your for the taking." I would give up my 1st and 3rd rounder (we have no 2nd) Cameron Wake, Vonte Davis and Ronnie Brown for the opportunity to draft Andrew Luck. Luck has all the tools and attributes it takes to be the next Payten Manning or Ben Roethlisburger. He is also the best passing college QB i've seen since Phillip Rivers was in the WolPac red. I don't know what the Dolphins have to do to get him, or if its even plausible. But they need to try. He will change everything if his talents are brought to Sun Life Stadium. They should start thinking about making their own luck. I'm not saying. I'm just saying.

New Top Dog?

Kobe or LeBron. The question is older then the Rosetta Stone. Jesus even once asked John who he thought was the best in the L. The game of basketball is much deeper then statistical figures. But when one of the greatest scorers of all time begins to curtail his scoring, does that mean he's losing a step? Over the last 5 seasons Kobe's points per game have gone down every year. Is he finally "getting it"? because over those 5 seasons he also has played in 3 finals and won 2 and most likely be in another finals this year. While Kobe's best attribute is shrinking LeBron's numbers are staying consistently great. Mind you LeBron is 26 and Kobe is 32, but is it that time that we all knew was coming? Has LeBron taken over Kobe for the top dog in the world of basketball? Watching LeBron play this year with his star studded lineup in Miami has only heighten his skill set. Everything is on display as it was in Cleve, but only with a little more "umff." Kobe or LeBron? I like to judge this question 1 way. If i had a 1 game playoff, and it was for all the marbles, who would i want on my team? Kobe. I'm not saying. I'm just saying.
